Fixed one more
I’ve fixed the third one (high fever) from Faye Dance. It also looks damn good with the proper footing.
This one is even better because I also fixed the hands in this one. In those dances, hand placements are even more of a mess than the legs.
Personally, I think of anyone saying things like “motion capture is the answer to animation” as talking about something he only heard, not something he has done actually.
Motion capture usually creates even more mess. It requires another experienced animator to clean up the data. Hence, it’s no answer.
3D scan was no different. It created more problems than solving.
Below is the first item (Happy) of Faye Dance. Leg shakes of Maya Dance, Aida Dance were already fixed. Faye Dance wasn’t.
This took me about 16 hours. (2 days). A user expressing a fondness for dance content gave me a new motivation.
I’ll make time to fix the other two Faye Dance items later.
These dance motions are precious assets. It is impossible to buy them anymore. I can only make use of existing ones.
A few things:
I continue to be amazed by your work. You are very, very talented.
Please continue to follow your own ideas, even if it means ignoring some our suggestions. You are way better at this than we are. And don’t be afraid to create “packages” and charge for them. Sure, we all want all the good stuff right now and for free, but you need to get paid for your work.
You have mentioned motion capture a few times, sometimes as though a specific mocap was valuable and sometimes as though mocap does you no good. So, I’m confused. But I came across this today, and I’ll share it. You’ll know if it has any value.

Keep up the awesome work!
Update:
If you read Japanese–and I think you do–you can see more at sony.jp/mocopi.
Here is an extract from another article about it.
The set includes six small sensors you secure to your head, wrists, hip, and ankles, and your movements are then translated to an avatar in real-time. You can record your animations and share them with your friends. It looks like it works pretty well, and it’s a portable solution too, letting you take it out and about.
As well as using Mocopi for the metaverse and augmented reality, a plugin developed by Sony allows the animations you create to be exported to other software, such as Unity and MotionBuilder. The official website also lists VRChat and Virtual Motion Capture.
I appreciate your suggestions. That’s what the comment sections are for. I can understand the usefulness for the likes of VR Chat.
One major issue with mocaps that is frequently overlooked is the actors. Normal people cannot stand and move like models or professional dancers. In the end, mocap turns out worse than my hand-made animation.
Believe it or not, I’m a retiree from the AAA game industry. We only use proven methods in the industry, for good reasons.
One more. I don’t need motion capture because I am already good at hand-made animations. Those things never cut work hours, they create more work.
They may help non-animators, though.

Kepp up the awesome work!
I’m very happy to see the leg shakes being fixed, particularly on Faye, shes my favorite model. I really enjoy the dance routines, the leg shakes were very distracting, I’m really going to enjoy the dance routines far more now!
Thankyou so much for fixing that😊😊😊
All three of the Faye Dances are fixed.
Hello admin How about Candy as the dancing girl?
😁✌️
Sounds good. All my original characters (Candy, Jana, Bree) can have bonus dances, actually.
That would be awesome, I’m sure many users would be happy.🙏👍
I’ve started updating Candy content on the shop. Candy and Jana pages will be updated soon. I’ll update Bree Dance when I have completed the hair system.
I’ll skip the free game page. It’s too crowded and disorganized as it is now.
